Devil Survivor 2: Chapter 14

"Have the hacker been identified yet ??" said the commander, slightly frustrated now.

"The fourth layer is down !!" said one of the JP's member. "Finished tracking the hacker's location !!"

The center of the monitor screen change to show them a blue map of Osaka JP's HQ had many lines being hacked into JP's HQ.

"So it's somewhere close by, huh ?" said Daichi.

The next second, all 4 of them gasped in surprise. Because the picture had expands to show them that Osaka JP's HQ is been hacked into from the entire country of Japan.

"What the ?? We're being attacked from all over Japan, sir !!"

"That's impossible !! Most of our networks are dead !!" said the commander. "This is a diversion from the hacker !! Get me specifics, stat !!"

Suddenly, Haruka heard a handphone start ringing nearby, turn and see Hinako reach for her phone in her pocket.

"Now what, at a time like this ?" said Hinako as she turn on her phone.

"A new death clip has arrived." said the purple-haired man in a suit who bowed before showing her the video clip of Keita dying. Her eyes widened in fear.

"Keita !!" said Hinako out loud.

"Huh ?" said Daichi as he, Haruka and Io (who covered her mouth with both hands in fear) now saw the video clip of Keita dying.

"Keita, it's Keita !!"

"Hinako-san, do you know the place in this video clip ?" Haruka asked her.

"What good will knowing the place do ??" answer Hinako rudely.

"Just hurry !!" said Haruka, slightly irritated at her. Hinako jolted in shock and repeat the video clip. She see the place where Keita's about to die is near some staircase.

"This is...... It's Festival Gate. It's close by here." Hinako told Haruka and she quickly turn to one of JP's member near her.

"Hurry and limit the location to this area near here now !!" Haruka told her.

"A-Alright !!" answer the JP's member as she began typing rapidly.

"What do you know, girl ??" The commander snapped at her. "Just be quiet and stay out of it !!"

"Search complete !!" said the JP's member as she narrowed down the hacker's attack to one area. "It's Osaka, Naniwa Ward. The abandoned Festival Gate park !! That's where the hacker attacking us !!"

"The hacker's that close ??" said the commander.

"Amazing, Haruka !!" said Daichi in awed at her. "How did you figure it out ??"

"As I thought......" thought Haruka unhappily.

"There, huh ?" said Yamato after he observed everything through the monitors.

"Kuze Haruka. You're there, correct ?" asked Yamato suddenly through one of the monitor.

"Bureau chief !!" said the commander.

"Dispatch all summoners to Festival Gate and bring in this hacker immediately !!" ordered Yamato to all of them.

"Pardon me, but......" Haruka began asking him. "Did you sent us here knowing that this would happened soon ?"

"Humph, she's a perceptive one. I'll give her that much." thought Yamato with smug amusement as he gazed unflinchingly back at her probing gaze.

"We're in a crisis at the moment. You and the other summoners are to leave immediately." said Yamato before the monitor change back to Osaka's city map. Haruka put down the speaker she's holding and turn to the JP's member she spoke to seconds ago.

"Excuse me, please change the order so that Wakui Keita isn't deployed to this area." Haruka told her. She gave her a nod and relay the order.

"The death clip that shows the future......" thought Haruka determinedly to herself. "If we have already seen it before it happened then surely we can prevent it from happening for real."

"Come on, let's go." Hinako said to her. Haruka nodded and all 4 of them leave the command room, out of Osaka JP's HQ towards Festival Gate.
